Your Wedding Through My Lens

If you're here, you've probably just begun to imagine what the day you say "I do" will be like. Maybe you've already chosen your dress, or maybe you're still looking for the perfect location among the Tuscan hills or the Venetian streets. But there's one thing that, once the last lights of the party have dimmed, will remain forever: the visual memory.

My job is to build a legacy. In this article, I want to take you behind the scenes of my service, explaining not only what I do, but more importantly, why and how I do it.

A wedding photoshoot doesn't start on the wedding day and doesn't end with the last shot of the cake. It's a journey we take together.

The Getting to Know Phase

I never shoot "strangers." Before the big day, we'll have at least one meeting (in person or via video call). I want to know how you met, what song makes you cry, and what worries you most about the wedding. This connection allows me to move naturally among your guests, becoming a friendly yet discreet presence.

I always recommend including a couple's session a few months before the wedding. It's the perfect "dress rehearsal." It helps you break the ice with the camera and understand that you don't have to be a model to look good in photos. Just be yourself.

The Preparations: The Suspended Wait

This is one of my favorite parts. There's an electric tension in the air. I document the details—the shoes, the perfume, the flowers—but I focus on the people. The nervous smiles between sisters, the toast with the groomsmen, the moment when the dress stops being a hanging object and becomes part of you.

I use lenses that allow me to maintain a distance so as not to interfere with the sacredness or intimacy of the moment. I capture the exchange of rings, but also the tears held back in the third row. Each shot is designed to convey the sonorous and spiritual atmosphere of those moments.

Couple Portraits: 20 Minutes of Breathing

Many newlyweds dread this moment because they don't want to leave their guests. My promise is brevity. I'll take you away for about 20 minutes, preferably during the Golden Hour, that warm, grazing light just before sunset. It will be your only moment of true solitude and intimacy of the day. I'll be there only to provide minimal guidance and capture your natural light.

My job isn't just about pressing a button. It's knowing how to predict a hug a second before it happens. It's knowing how to read the light filtering through a dusty window. It's having the sensitivity to know when to remain silent and when to incite the crowd to celebrate.
